The IFS Food Standard is a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) recognised standard for food industry audits.
The aim is food safety and quality of the process and products.
It concerns the food processes of manufacturing industries and industries that pack loose foods.
The IFS Food standard is applied when the products are “processed” or where there is a danger of product contamination during immediate packaging.
The standard is important for all food industries, especially for products with private brands.

The BRCGS global standard for agri-food safety is one of the operational tools used for due diligence (i.e. being able to demonstrate that all reasonable measures have been taken to avoid an accident or harm) and to select the suppliers of the agri-food supply chain.
This standard is also an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the company’s ongoing commitment to safety, quality and compliance with the rules governing the agri-food sector.
