when Fortunato and Maria founded their first bakery near Camogli.
The bakery produced many types of Focaccia, including a dried version especially for sailing ships. Their son Ausonio, moved to Recco on completion of his baker apprenticeship and together with his brother, Francesco, founded the "Fratelli Tossini" Bakery-Cake shop.
In 1976 the sons of Ausonio and his wife Caterina, Luigi and Maurizio, modernised the bakery and so began an innovative project maintaining the original quality and craftsmanship of their grandparents.
This original workmanship is still in evidence today, with attention and respect paid to the correct production times and the use of only the highest quality raw ingredients.
With our modern conservation technologies, we want to pursue our objective which is to introduce the taste of our land, the Liguria region, not only to the rest of Italy, but also to the rest of Europe.
