The traditional gastronomy of Liguria has many types of vegetable cakes, eaten either as snacks or as complete meals.
The main ingredients used are eggs, cheese and many different types of vegetables. The most typical are the Pasqualina and Baciocca cakes.
"Fried" and "Farinata" are also very traditional foods in this region
